Tenzing accolades warm welcome at Pakyong Airport for displaying his outstanding Sports leadership in recently concluded U-19 Cricket World at Antigua and Barbuda.Sikkimese, Sports Administrator has been appointed as the team Manager by the Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) for U19 team that won the fifth under 19 World Cup in January 2022 at West Indies. Prior to winning World Cup, he was also the Team Manager, and his team also won Asia Cup in UAE on Dec 2021. Shri Tenzing took team victoriously for both tournaments whih is big moment for Sikkim in International Cricket Arena. Sports Person of the year – 2021 by the Sikkim Express – English Daily Newspaper of Gangtok, Lobzang Tenzing has been contributed lots for the grooming of cricket talents as well as developing the cricket infrastructures in Sikkim.
